Visiting us

Skyward Flight Training is based at the historic Rougham Airfield, in the heart of the stunning Suffolk countryside.

Throughout the year, the airfield hosts a wide array of events, including food and crafts markets and historical car shows.

We are very accessible by road and are located just off the A14, only a couple of miles from the beautiful market town of Bury St. Edmunds.

If you plan to fly in, please note that we are PPR.

We look forward to welcoming you to Skyward Flight Training!

Travelling by car

Rougham Airfield is now cut off from Rougham Industrial Estate until the new access road is completed.  Until then:

If coming on the A14 turn off at Junction 44, Bury St Edmunds East and follow signs to Moreton Hall Estate and Skyliner Sports Center

From any direction head for the roundabout by BSE Audi (IP32 7YB on satnav) and continue past the new Sybil Andrews academy along the new link road (this will be Rougham Tower Avenue when the signs are unveiled) and ignore the signs saying Access to School and Construction Traffic Only.

At the next roundabout turn left onto the airfield and park by the school

If the gates are locked, please telephone us.
